Community Involvement

We strive to be an integral part of out local and boutique professional and community involvement. We involve ourselves in a number of activities: supporting a local food pantry, creating relationships with community organizations.

In August the Founder of CoutureWalk, herself donated 12 inches of her lovely locks. Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children under age 18 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis.

We look forward to being actively involved in the community in the years to come. Sponsorship applications are accepted throughout the year. For questions or for more information please contact us.

Our most recent involvement in the community has been in conjunction with other members of the boutique community to sponsor building Kenedaie, "A Real Life Thumbelina" a custom OOAK boutique clothing wardrobe. Kenedaie was finally diagnosed with primordial dwarfism, a genetic condition that is believed to affect only about 100 people in the world. She isn't expected to grow past about 30 inches or weigh more than 8 pounds. Find out more details about the boutique community sponsorship Kenedaie or visit Kenedaie's website.

Kenedaie will also be airing on ABC Primetime: Medical Mysteries Airing January 10th, 2007 at 10pm EST Schedule Subject to Change [Link].
